This 8.5" x 5.5" journal sports our new Simple-Old-Style binding option (found on the Bling page).  The binding is complimented with a Leather Spine Upgrade.

Splattered pages are done in brown. and a Bookmark.

The Cover is Old Letters paper from the Limited-Edition Selection done in the default Straight-Edge Style (instead of Torn Edge)

This journal also sports our New Bling option, the Journal Latch, done in a matching brown leather.  Super attractive--i'm having a hard time giving this one away.

Fantasy Tree paper with the Owner's name printed on the front cover.  This is available with any of the color print upgrades.

Lined Paper with Corner Photo!  This turned out awesome.  The inside corner pictures match the Fantasy Tree Cover selected.

For the Back cover, we zoomed in on the dark branches of the Fantasy Tree.  Can you see it?  It's very beautiful and matches the feel and theme perfectly.

 All about the Dragon

This dragon was actually drawn in honor of my main character in my Novels.  The symbols are my author's motto, meaning:  The Sword and Pen are One.

Naturally, when starting my own book binding business, I brought this symbol along.  When the order for this Journal came in, I couldn't have been more pleased.

This was the last fun project we did tonight in class.  What a cutie!  Pendragon's book binding will definitely be adding this size to the list.  It's half the size of our current "small" journal and wrapped in a full leather cover.

Simple, Fun and Classy.  This journal features our Limited Edition: Green Leaf paper--handmade.

 Simple old style

 Here's another way that we bind books.  Notice the spine?  It has three ridges, like the old style binding books--only less dramatic to fit the suede we use.

A lot of books we make will have this style of spine, so I thought it only fair to show it off.  Unless something else is specified, Pendragon's Book Binding will make the best choice of spine style pending on what materials you've selected for your cover.

Once again, this journal also sports our ever so popular Red Butterfly paper choice in the Torn Edge style.

Jenn's Journal

Full sized 8.5" x 5.5" journal.

This cover is done with the standard Gold & Black Leaf paper (available on the Cover's Gallery page) along with our standard suede spine covering.

Bling features include:  black Splattered Pages, sewn-in Bookmark, and Inside Corner Tabs. The cover features the Torn Edge paper cover  (all available on the Bling page)

This journal style package would only be $20!  

  Pink Splatter

Fun and Dramatic.

This journal would be a special request for it's size.  it falls between the standard size and small sized journals, but closest to the small.

The paper is Pink Splattered from the standard paper choices.  It has the dark brown Old Style Binding with Leather Spine upgrade.

The Torn Edge style was a little different than our normal way.  Instead of burning the edges, it was simply torn to give a more dramatic white edge between it and the leather.  (this would have to be requested after we receive your order :)

Living in Lime

this 8.5 x 5.5 book cover with the Green & White swirls standard paper choice.  

Like many of our favorite books, it also features the Torn Edge Cover, Bookmark, and Inside Corner tabs.

The fun thing about this project is the Splattered Edges:  a cool mix of lime-green and black!  It looks amazing.  As I told the new owner before:  Good choice.

Classic Red

As seen on our "How it's Made" tab.

This "straight edge" style (referring to the straight line between the red paper and black spine) is the default option, unless the "torn edge cover" is requested (see below)

This is the 8.5"x5.5" journal standard size with optional Bookmark (added from Bling page).  

Cover is:  Red Butterfly paper, available on the "Covers Gallery" page. The spine was made with our original paper materials, but we have since upgraded that.

Minus your specific cover choice, this is a very standard Hardbound binding, if nothing else is added to it.

 Customized Classic Red

I've posted this journal to show you the same book as above, but with a few additions:

The Red-Butterfly cover choice, but in Torn Edge style.  The Torn Edge addition is quickly becoming a Pendragon Favorite!

Also, this journal sports the Splattered Pages with a Gold and Black mix. Although unseen, it also has the Inside Corner tabs that matches the Red butterfly paper, and the sewn in Bookmark.

Pendragon's Small

This is a journal i designed and made for myself. Pendragon needs one too afterall!   

This is based from the Small journal binding option. The cover is  "Orange Fire" hand made paper, available under the limited addition cover options (as of 3/7/10).  

This journal was the birth of "torn edge" and "Splattered Pages" --shown in Gold-- (available on Bling page)  I designed it how i wanted it, and it looked so nice that we added the options to the Bling page--they have quickly become a Pendragon's favorite!  What can i say?  I have good taste.

The spine is our standard black suede that comes with all paper covers.  It has a really nice leather pattern.
