Customize Your Mini-Me to make it just for you.  I've never seen two just alike!




There are Seven Steps to customizing your Mini-Me

But First, if you haven't already, make sure you have a Mini-Me in your cart ...

Mini-Me blank Journal (3" x 4.5")

Mini-Me journals are cute and fun!  
Approximately 3" x 4.5" (each one will vary a little).

Customizing:  Step One

Pick A Cover Material  This will wrap around your Mini-Me.  The paper signatures will be sewn directly to it.  All pictures are samples--we will email you photos of available selection in the category you choose after we receive your order.  

Mini-Me: Leather Cover

This is our most common request.  We always have a variety of leathers on hand to chose from.  We will email you will our current stock so you can have an exact choice.  There is usually always a Red, Black, Dark Brown, and Tan variety. 
 

Mini-Me: Soft Suede Cover

Choose from either our brown or black soft suedes.  They are made printed to look just like leather... only softer.  (options are both pictured)
 

Mini-Me: Patterned Leather Cover

We often have a selection of really neat patterned leather. Pictured examples are two of our more common supplies:  a snake print, and a more stout Leaf-design.  If you select a Patterned Leather for your cover, we'll email you pictures of everything we currently have for an exact choice.   These make really fun covers.   
 

Mini-Me: Vinyl Cover

A variety of Vinyls can work too!  Some super soft and some super stout.  Shiny or Mat. We'll email you  with pictures of our current stock to finalize your exact preference.  A normal variety of colors include:  black, brown, and red.
 


Step Two: Windows

Windows are what show off the hand sewn page signatures inside. 

You can choose between 0, 1 or 2 windows OR put the book's fate in our hands and have us customize a unique design. :)  


Mini-Me: No Windows design

Classic and Solid design.  Though it doesn't show off the signatures, you'll still get a cool sewing pattern on the outside.   pictured with Black thread choice.
 

Mini-Me: Two Window design

We like this design.  Two windows to show off whatever signature wrappers you choose (selected in Step Four)  the sewing pattern would be very similar to this one pictured, unless specified otherwise.  Every book is different.
 

Mini-Me: One Window design

One Window, short or Long.  Show off those pages.  Sewing patterns differ with every project, pending on requested cover choice.  Pictured is a "Shoe-Lace" pattern.  :) 
 

Mini-Me: Unique Window-Pattern

Leaving it up to the binder!  This can always be a little fun and unexpected.  We take your selected Cover and just see what it wants!  Diagonal holes? Zig-zag sewing?  Stripes?

Step Three:  Thread Choice  Here's a general rule of thumb:   

If you want it to stand out:  White on Dark Covers or Black on Light Covers

If you want it to be more subtle:  White on Light Covers or Black on Dark

Step Four: Signature Wraps :)

If you have any windows in your design at all, you may want to consider some fun wraps.  These colorful papers go around each signature, giving it a splash of color on the inside and out. 

Mini-Me: No Wraps

 Just the simple white signatures can be super classy, especially in a black and white design.  
 

Mini-Me: Bold Color Wraps, rainbow mix

Mini-Me: Color Specific Wraps

Want a specific color or hue pattern?  Want them all blue, green or pink? Or perhaps shades of pink?  Put this selection in your basket and we'll contact you to work out the details.  You can chose from solid colors or any of the wraps we've posted so far... color specific.  :) 
 

Mini-Me: Tie-Dye Wraps

Mini-Me: Pattern Wraps, rainbow mix

We have lots of little patterns that would look good peaking through your Mini-Me's window.  Specific requests from this variety can be made via email, otherwise we'll put together a nice variety of colors and patterns.  
 

Mini-Me: Standard Paper Selection Wraps

Perhaps you saw something back on the Covers Gallery that you'd like for your wraps instead?  You can chose from any of our Standard Paper Choices and we'll cut it down to  make your signature wraps.  Exact results will pend on paper chosen.  Note: Most of the Standard Papers selection is closer to a card-stock type paper.  Limit One selection per Mini-Me.  Please remember to add your paper choice to cart from the Cover's Gallery Page.

Step Five:  Cover Style

Though we can't guarantee an exact design, this will give us a better idea of what you like.  The Cover Style refers to the cut in top piece of leather.


Mini-Me: Squared Cover Style

A square line across the front.  It could come full across the front, half way (as pictured) or somewhere along the line.  Either way, this choice will give you a nice straight edge appearance.  
 

Mini-Me: Curved Line Style

$ 0.00 USD

This choice will usually give you a single soft curve on the front cover.  No specific guarantee.  A lot of that depends on the cover choice.   This is just one example.  
 

Mini-Me: Wave Cover Syle

$ 0.00 USD

This is only one example of a Wave-line on the cover.  EVERY Mini-Me will be different!  These pictures are just examples.  If you see a specific one you like, you can request it via email (referring to the picture on website)   
 


Step Six:  Tie-Down

You can select one of these styles to help keep your Mini-Me closed.

Mini-Me: Velcro Tab

Mini-Me: No tie Down please

No tie-down is required, of course.  Some of the softer cover choices (like suede) tend to lay down by themselves without much fuss.  Others, like this leather pictured, can be held down with a smart choice of Bling.  (see Bling options below)
 

Mini-Me: Braided Rope

Bling Accessory not included on this step  (the moon)
 

Mini-Me: Fold-Over Slot

$ 0.00 USD

This type of "tie-down" will require a bling to hold it closed.  See our Bling step (below) for your choice.  Works best with a more Stout material or leather.  We cut a slot into the folded side of the cover and sew the Bling item to the other side to slide through it.  
 


Step Seven:  LAST STEP!!!!

Bling additions   This is perhaps, the hardest part to customize.  It's almost impossible to show all of the 

Mini-Me: Binder's Choice Bling

This choice will let your binder match up a Bling that they like for your finished design.  It can be a little random, and there's no guarentee of what it would be, but it's a lot of fun.  Let us know who the book is for (mom, husband, brother, girl-friend) and we'll find something to match. 
 

Mini-Me: Add My Own Bling

Add this option to your cart and we'll leave the Bling completely off.  Add something you have of your own to make it much more personal.

Or, if you'd like to send us your bling to put on, we can do that too. 
 

Mini-Me: Show me Your Bling

It'd be impossible to keep all of our Bling up to date on the website.  However, if you'd like, we can email you a picture of our current Bling Stock (or as best a picture as we can get) and you can point out which item you would like  :)

Shipping/Handling (1-2 books or up to 3 minis)

We estimate minimum $5 of shipping/handling for up to 1-2 books.  Up to 3 for the Minis.  (according to the PO)  This includes anywhere in the United States of America (mainland).  

If you know you need shipping, please add it to your cart now (easiest method).  For orders of 3 books or more, we'll send you a quote for Shipping/Handling after we receive your order to be paid separate via Paypal.  Costs are based per weight of completed project or whatever the post office lady tells me. :)   

Shipping will need to be paid before we can send your book to you.
